AGERATUM "Hawaii Blue":

Aka "Floss Flower". One of the true "blue" annuals, ageratum produces blue 'fluffy' flowers in clusters. They are in fact daisies without the ray petals! Plants need good air circulation, water regularly and cut off spent blooms for a more continious bloom. These make good edging plants and look great with contrasting annuals such as marigolds. May attract butterflies.

BEGONIA:

Usually transplanted outside after all danger of frost has passed, wax begonias make the perfect bedding plant for sun or shade. But plants develop best foliage color in full sun. Their round leaves may be green, red or bronze. Pink, red or white flowers bloom in abundance from spring until frost. Fertilize & water regularly; plants are always in bloom and do not need deadheading. Use them at the front of a border, or to add color to window boxes and containers.

CELOSIA "Kimono Mix":

Celosia produces tall feathery like plumes in a variety of colors. They are most effective in massed garden beds, containers, and look best with other greenery. Will tolerate dry porous soils if watered moderately. Has excellent ability to take heat. Plant when soil is warm. Temperatures below 60 degrees can cause stunting. Very senstive to cold and will die with first frost. Can be cut and dried. Likes full sun. Combines well with Zinnia & Canna.

COLEUS "Wizard":

Coleus produces extravagantly colored leaves on self-branching plants. They prefer rich, well drained soil and a shady location that is protected from the wind. Plants form bushy mounds and provide color to shady gardens. Remove flowers for greater leaf production. Can tolerate sun with regular watering. Use in beds, borders, containers, or as a house plant. Will die with first frost. Combines well with Begonia, Caladium, Melampodium, Nicotiana, Salvia, Marigold & Zinnia.
