This old time garden favorite is excellent for full sun and dry conditions. They come in a wide variety of colors, and are virtually pest free. NON STOP BEGONIA (Tuberous):

Delightful annual known for its wonderful, large double or "rose" like blooms. Plants like to be moist and in a cooler spot in the garden. Pinch single "male" flowers off to promote more double "female" flowers. Remove spent blooms to promote a better show. Great in containers, beds or as a wonderful little houseplant.

These shade tolerant annual flowers are often mistaken for "little roses". Plants provide tremendous color up until frost. Keep plants well watered and fertilize every 2 weeks for maximum show. CANNA:

Cannas are tender perennials that grow from a rhizome. They are extremely easy to care for and have a very long bloom time. Use in beds, borders or backgrounds. Great in containers. Cannas give you an excellent "tropical" touch in your garden. Plant only after danger of all frost has past, and when soil is warm. May bloom again next year.

GERBER DAISY :

Aka: Transvaal Daisy. Gerbers are wonderful annuals for full sun. The large foliage hugs the ground as daisy-like flowers top its long stems. Flowers come in a variety of bright colors. Plants can tolerate cooler temperatures, but not frost. Will not do well in dry conditions. Use in mass plantings, borders, containers or as a small houseplant. Remove spent blooms and large leaves from the center of the plant to promote better flowering.
