This old
time garden favorite is excellent for full sun and dry conditions. They
come in a wide variety of colors, and are virtually pest free. Can be
used in containers, mass plantings, baskets and window boxes. Deadhead
flowers to promote bigger and better blooms. Fertilize every 2 weeks
to maintain good color. Red flowers may attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Aka: Transvaal Daisy. Gerbers are wonderful annuals for full sun. The large foliage hugs the ground as daisy-like flowers top its long stems. Flowers come in a variety of bright colors. Plants can tolerate cooler temperatures, but not frost. Will not do well in dry conditions. Use in mass plantings, borders, containers or as a small houseplant. Remove spent blooms and large leaves from the center of the plant to promote better flowering. Height: 12-18" |
